Charlie always has been one of the players that is a huge influence for me. His stage presence is one of the best out there and I can’t think of anyone more who deserves a signature guitar. It will be one I will have to look at
I’ve met, and hung out with Charlie multiple times, after gigs, on his tour bus, and this is exactly how he is. A humble, fantastic singer, songwriter and the best guitar player out right now.

If I had the cash I would definitely buy one of those Charlie Starr Juniors. A Gibson Les Paul Jr. with a single P90 is my favorite models ever made. Having met Charlie before I can say that there is no one more deserving of a signature model. He’s a very friendly and down to earth guy and an absolute beast on guitar.

An absolute great bunch of guys. As humble as they come. The amount of giving they all did during the shutdown says a lot about them as people. Brit told me many times about shipping out swag for fundraisers, as well as donations. Charlie's pretty darn good on slide too!

Sadly of the hundreds of guitars I have owned over the years...I have bought one brand new Gibson...a Les Paul Special with an Ebony board...TV Yellow..nitro finish....$699 closeout...one of my best playing guitars.. No chance of buying a brand new Gibson....way too expensive. Most of the pros, have guitars in the same way Charlie got his..bought them on deals used. Once Gibson hands them over to make players think you need a $5K Les Paul. They are way off base. Doctors and Laywers that dabble in guitar will keep Gibson afloat. Players don't buy their new guitars.

Charlie is a fantastic guitar player (& great guy!) at last getting his well deserved signature model! I bought a junior yesterday and can honestly say that Charlie was my main motivation & inspiration for doing so, I also “needed” a P90 guitar and the simplicity of the junior appealed to me and as I live mainly on the bridge pickup, the single P90 was ideal!👍👏👏🎶🎶

At 18:00 is Charlie talking about the chord in Hard Days Night having a maj7 or the chord he’s playing? The chord he’s playing (3X3013 and 3X2013) is going between a G dominant 7 and G major 6. Just making sure I’m not missing something

I got lucky and found these guys at the Star Bar in Atlanta back in 2009. Watched Charlie play that Jr a lot in the early days. IMO it is still one of best sounding guitars in his collection. A great choice for his signature series and well deserved for this riff master.

Many years ago I saw blackberry smoke in a bar they were still a 4 piece i was like wow wound up at the bar talking to Charlie brit and Paul about gram parsons American history, and Phil Kaufman and cosmic American music ( See Gram Parsons) they opened for ragweed that night it would be great so see ragweed open for blackberry smoke ( they are back together after like 12 years)

Wow. My first gig at 14 on the "Moose Club" circuit in west central Georgia, similar to Charlie. But I hung my saddle up. What an inspiration he is.
Great interview!! Back in the late 70's and early 80's I used to plug my old Fender Mustang into my stereo to use as an amp!!
Charlie never leaves a gap between cowboy chords, he can riff between every change.

First signature model I've ever truly wanted. Blackberry Smoke is fantastic.
I picked up my first Junior this year and I'm an absolute convert. It changed the way I play an interact with the guitar.
It definitely helps you really appreciate the subtle changes volume and tone knobs have on your sound.
